8-4x4s OYO which turned into between 4-10 reps of the 4x4s because it’s a lot of counting different reps and things.

21s. I totally messed this up on purpose so I made us do a 20 IC plank as consequence rather than 40.


The Thang


Bearpee Circle of pain
We mosey from the parking lot to the stage connected to the circle path. The PAX proceeded to do bearpees all the way around the .1 mile circle by starting with 1 burpee, 4 count bear crawl, 2 burpees, 4 count bear crawl. Rinse and repeat. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!

Mosey to the courtyard under Market Street Bridge. Partnered up. One partner did suicides to each of the 3 columns toward frazier. Other partner did LBC. Switch until 100 total LBCs are achieved.

Circle Burp time! PAX circled up and started chopping feet. Went around the circle in a counterclockwise fashion while each PAX had an opportunity to bring the pain.

Back to the suicided. Same partner and same suicides. Other partner did merkins. Swich until 100 total merkins are achieved.

Bruce Lee got cut in half! We started Bruce Lee’s work out – 20 reps of the following with no break in between: Hammers, Leg Raises, LBCs, Heel Touches, (didn’t get to the Cruchy Frogs, and 100s) Skitch politely interrupted. Can’t say I was too mad, either.

Mosey back to the parking. All soaked to the bone. All stronger than 45 minutes prior.

    Everyone broad jumped to the 10 yard marker then did the following exercise:

    10 Burpees | 10 Bonnie Blairs | 10 Big Boy Sit-ups

    Rinse and repeat 2x, then Bear Crawl back 30 yards to start. -> Burpee Count 30

    Jail break/Mosey across parking lot until the six is in.

    UGH ANOTHER BURPEE BUS -> Burpee Count 5

    Dora: Partnered up. 100 cumulative merkins while partner bear crawled 20 yards

    UGH ANOTHER BURPEE BUS -> Burpee Count 5

    Circle Burp -> Burpee Count 18

    Dora: Partnered up. 100 cumulative squats while partner lunged 30 yards

    UGH ANOTHER BURPEE BUS -> Burpee Count 5

    Killer B modified. PAX lined back up, Broad jump 30 yards, 10 Burpees, 10 Bonnie Blairs, 10 Big Boy Sit ups. -> Burpee Count 10

    ABS: 15-Back Plank | Boat/Canoe until exhaustion | 15- Box Cutters | Boat/Canoe again-into infinity

    Wait, still have 5 more minutes?!?! One last circle burp for the win -> Burpee Count 18

    Total burpee beatdown count -> 109×18=1,962

Mosey around the tennis courts to the bottom of the Hill #2. 15-Mountain Climbers (IC) , 10-Plank Jacks (IC) . Bear crawl to the top of the hill towards Food City.

      Mosey to Base Camp #2 (2’x2′ squares towards W 40th St), BURPEE TRAIN – 1 Jump forward 1 Burpee, 2 Jumps forward 2 Burpees, 3 Jumps forward 3 Burpees, 4 Jumps forward 4 Burpees, 5 Jumps forward 5 Burpees. Hold plank when finished. Bear Merkins going back across 2’x2′ squares. 1 Merkin Bear Crawl foward 2 squares, 2 Merkins 4 squares forward, 3 Merkins 6 spaces forward, 4 Merkins, 8 spaces forward, 5 Merkins at the end. Hold Plank when finished. 10-Carolina Dry Dogs (IC)

      Mosey back to Base Camp #2, 15-Cotton Picker Stretches (IC) , 10-Right over left (IC) , 10-Left over right (IC) , 15-Tender Groins (IC). Mosey to Top of Hill #2, run backwards down the hill to tennis courts. Mosey back to Parking lot. Done done done.

      The goal of the workout was to stretch for flexibility, run for cardio, and push through the pain of growing.

      It was raining on and off during the entire workout. At which point everyone’s feet were drenched, we got on the ground for some bear crawls. I doubt there wasn’t a dry spot on anyone. We did a little groin stretch at one point, where Backfire came up with the name TenderGroin
