When your Q saw a white truck with a TN Vols plate on the front, I started jumping around thinking the Great “Pumpkin” had returned.  She-Shed steps out and looks puzzled as to why I am hooting and hollering because he showed. I tried to make him feel as special as Pumpkin would have.  LOL!

Pax circle up and chop feet. One Pax yells fire.  All hit the ground, roll right, merkin, roll left, merkin, and back up chopping. Rinse and repeat until ALL Pax have yelled fire.

Start with SSH as the music is playing, when the banjo solo begins PAX complete Wide High Knees and continue this until the banjo solo ends, switch to Merkins when the woman sings.  Rinse and Repeat this process until the song ends.

Two weeks ago my faith was severely shaken in both people (definitely happened before) and God.  The problem with this: it truly effected my life in a very negative way that Wednesday.
I was so shaken, exhausted, and anxious that I chose not to teach Awana that night.  I felt it hypocritical to present the gospel with my faith shaken so much.  The devil and evil won that day!
Well, life is not a sprint but a marathon.  Faith will be shaken (whatever your faith may be), but don’t let it be completely broken. Take that step back.  Call an F3 brother (that is what I did). Pray. Meditate.  Whatever it takes, find your way back to faithfulness or you will truly find yourself in a dark place.
My challenge to you: Find your way back to the Third F!

From time-to-time, YHC loves sifting through the Q-Source for good inspiration. I’ve read this particular piece on the King/Queen multiple times; each time learning something new/different.
To be very brief, the F3 reference to King is simply,“The Daily Discipline Of Physically Training The Body…A man’s Right relationship with himself—his Fitness—begins with his body”. And the F3 reference to Queen,“The Daily Discipline Over What Is Put Into The Body – Man does not stay Fit through exercise alone.”
The two of these work in partnership, just as a royal King and Queen would do. So, the metaphoric King/Queen here is no different. No matter what you do from a disciplined approach to exercise, you mustn’t neglect the thing that fuels the King. Hand-in-hand. True partnership. True discipline.
In YHC experience, the Queen is often times the ruler of the house; a little tongue-in-cheek, I do admit. But #truth nonetheless.

– It was funny hearing the banter between old school / new school. Coin Purse giving Sidekick a hard time; Sidekick getting the last laugh.
– Speaking of Coin Purse – YHC asked if he knew who 311 was —> Nope… Cache this moment as the point when I really felt old.
– Music makes beatdowns less painful or more manageable. End of story
– Time caught up to us and we didn’t get to my new concept – Maybe it’ll get worked in at Hill City.

Not much for the moleskin, but I just want to say that F3 means a lot to me. I’m not much for religion, but I definitely believe in an unseen force that guides and shapes us. It is up to us to use that force for good or evil. When I am not showing up, and being a spectacular sad clown, I can feel the force drag me to a place that makes me dark and mean. When I keep showing up to posts my life is remarkably better, and It feels good to make that journey with others that are getting better too. We got a good thing going in Chatt. Let’s keep it up!

  1. SSH/PlankJacks – 1 Partner counts (IC-10) SSH while 2nd Partner does PlankJacks – Switch – rinse and repeat until song is over or Q says to move to next station.

2.  Overhead Press/Lunges (Both with 30 Lb Coupon) – 1 Partner counts OverHead                    Press (10 Reps) while 2nd partner does alternating lunges.  Switch – rinse and                      repeat until song is over or Q says to move to next station.
3.  Imperial Walker/Burpee – Partner 1 counts (IC- 10) Imperial Walkers while Partner            2 conducts Burpees.  Switch – rinse and repeat until song stops or Q says to move to            next station.
4.  Merkins/Squats – Partner 1 does 10 signal count Merkins while Partner 2 does                      single count Squats.  Switch – rinse and repeat until song stops or Q says to move to            next station.

Soccer Circuit was on the menu today.  The circuit consisted of a suicide across the Bass Pro Parking lot, followed by 15 Mercans, 15 Box Jumps on random bass Pro props, 10 burpees, 30 yds of lunges, and about 60 yards of bernie sanders.  Rinse and Repeat.
We finished up with some Mary – American hammers; LBC; Hello Dolly; one legged reverse pickle pounders

So, this is Sidekick writing this for my buddy Speed Bump.  Speed has been distracted lately because some low life needed to break into his house and take things he didn’t earn.  In all likelihood, if the guy would have asked, Speed probably would have given him whatever it was anyway because that’s the kind of dude he is.  He is always there to help and is the most selfless man I know.  So, men of F3, when you see Speed, ask him if there is anything he needs because he would do the same for you.  Aye?

With many new faces in the crowd, I thought it was appropriate to repeat an oldie but a goodie that I did for my VQ – The Rx for Pain
The Refill on the Prescription for Pain
12 prescriptions were given out to the PAX.  Each Rx had a Disp # on it which correlated with the number of reps.  This was an additive circuit meaning we did 1, then 1 and 2, then 1, 2, and 3, etc.
1 – Lap
2  – 8 count BB

Earlier this week, my man Best in Show commented on the changes he had seen in me in the last year, namely in my physical appearance.  This really hit home because I see myself everyday and don’t always notice a change but those around us do.  When I mentioned this to my wife, she commented on how not only my physical appearance had changed with F3 but also my attitude, my faith, and my overall outlook on life.  It really struck me because I really didn’t think I was doing anything different, I was just doing what I loved and that was enjoying F3.  It made me realize what an impact F3 has on our lives, whether we realize it or not.  The positive impact on being a HIM in Chattanooga spills over way beyond ourselves:  it affects our family, friends, and community.  Many people may think this is “just a workout” but it’s so much more.  Time, effort, and dedication will have profound impact on us and those around us.

There was the normal Candu grunting.  The Count, at times, looked like a Squatty Potty model.  There was some confusion regarding numbers and time when discussing the upcoming Convergence.
