COT

Being that it was the QIC’s 39th birthday, I talked about the meaning behind the Angel number 39. The number 3 being associated with creativity, self-expression, enthusiasm, expansion, and growth. While the number 9 is the number of Spiritual Laws, unity, generosity, inner-wisdom, spiritual awakening and enlightenment, divine purpose and soul mission

Tied these numbers into the 3rd-F mission and how it resonated with me on personal level. Encouraged the PAX to look for their own generosity and giving, and how they can help others.

BALL OF MAN: Congregation of two or more men in physical contact, usually (but not exclusively) in the prayer that terminates the COT. Abbr: BOM]

Being that I’m super late on getting this done, my short term memory loss has caught up to me. I’m sure there were some 9-Volt gems that were thrown out

COT was fairly short, but hopefully somewhat impactful. Read the affirmation and Bible verse below. Challenged the PAX to give something up to serve someone else, whether at home, at work or in the community.

What activity do I need to give up, so I am available to serve someone else?

        COT

Being that we are on the tail end of our initial clothing drive, I chose to close us out with a COT similar to one we did a few weeks back. It all ties around our Contribution verses our Capacity. I used a balloon analagy and likened it to how they can be a little tougher to blow up at first and has little capacity, but with some stretching (getting out your comfort zone) and some more air (effort) then that balloon begins to expand it’s capacity. As we walk daily my challenge is to increase our contribution to be closer to our capacity and we will truly grow

          COT

Just finished reading Freed to Lead – mentioned how the book talks of everyone has a dolphin and a daffodil with my interpretation being everyone has a specific and unique talent (dolphin) and a specific and unique passion (daffodil). And that we are individually created with a Divine Design. When that talent intersect with that passion then we know where our Divine Design lays, and to chase and embrace it. I’m still searching but getting closer every day. Challenged the PAX to find a starting point to seek their own Divine Design, and to start with asking those close to them (friends, family, spouses) if they were to describe you in one word, what would it be? You will find commonalities and that may very well be the staring point to where you were meant to go.

Burrito covered a lot on the Lions Den Channel, but there’s always so much more when theres a rolled tortilla around. But here’s some cliff notes…Ohms is as fast as advertised. Not kidding he’s fast. Coypu does move quick for a guy of his stature. The Count might be the fittest person in F3…he rucked 6 miles prior and then did all these sprints. Unreal. Friar Tuck does not quit!

Oh, and there were a lot of Whittler mom jokes coming from a certain corner….unfortunately he wasn’t there to defend himself

            Let’s Play a Card Game

Hearts = Merkins; Diamonds = Dive Bombers; Spades = Air Squats; Clubs = Standing Lunges (each leg); Jokers = Minute Plank

Began with the entire stack of 54 cards (including Jokers), and pulled randomly. Each suite was represented by an exercise and the number pulled was the number of reps done. All “numbers” should be fairly obvious with the exception of face cards.

            Jacks = 11; Queens = 12; Kings = 13; Aces = 15

Total Reps = 105 Merkins; 105 Dive Bombers; 105 Air Squats; 105 Lunges (each leg or 210 total); 2 minute Plank

Note: this did take up most of our time; however we did pull 4 additional cards randomly at the end to finish all the way through

            COT

Continued the theme from Smackdown last week. “Contribution vs Capacity”. We each have varying levels of capacity and we each have various means to contribute. The challenge (especially as we work towards the ThirdF and giving) is to contribute closer to our capacity. To stretch ourselves when we give (whether monetarily, physically, emotionally, spiritually, with family/friends, etc.). I believe as we stretch ourselves in contribution and grow closer to our capacity then our capacity will also grow, giving us more room to contribute even greater.

            COT

Contribution vs Capacity – talked about how each individual has their own unique capacity to themselves, and the amount we contribute can very. Many times we don’t contribute to the full length of our capacity. However, when we do contribute more (increase that intensity) and get closer to our capacity then we can really stretch ourselves and grow.

Not sure it all came out that when standing in the middle of the circle, buts that at least the replay in my head:)

Nothing earth shattering.  Talked about being intentional.  Thankful for everyone being intentional in joining the group this morning.  Challenged everyone to be intentional today, even if it’s for one day – in our work, with our spouses/significant others, with our kids, and with ourselves.

                  GO BE INTENTIONAL TODAY
